00 Hi everyone. I'm Emily. And I'm Vince. And this is the lighthouse slow down. It's not as more distinguished as usual. Well, it's because I wasn't bopping along into it. Lighthouse slow down. I need to figure out how to raise the volume of these when I click the button. I don't know if you're right. It's a slider. Let's check. Oh my gosh. That's perfect.

41 Alright. Mystery solved. Awesome. What a great start to the podcast. Thank you everyone for joining us on the lighthouse slow down. We are in the basement in the riprap studio. We're at the revetment stone studio. Emily is in a cast. So if you can hear that coming across the microphone, you're very in tune. Yep. I'm planning on painting a lighthouse on this bad boy. Are you really? Why not? I'm not against it. I'm just surprised. It sounds like a lot of effort. I'm just sitting around doing nothing. Okay. Vince and I are talking about what our next lighthouse trip is going to be.

22 Talking it over. We're thinking Cape Cod, but we're going to juggle around some other options before we decide too quickly. But there is 14 lighthouses in Cape Cod and 11 of them have the United States Lighthouse Society stamps. What are the three that don't? Are they not UH LHS certified or something? I don't know. I don't know. I didn't look. I just kind of typed in each one into the their website to see which ones were included in their stamp list. Because you want the stamps. Yes. I'm here for the stamps. I used to be here for the love of lighthouses and there's still some of that in there. But the stamps, it's all about completion.

03 The satisfaction of being like, yes, I visited the lighthouse and here's a stamp. Clearly we're here for the money, fame and stamps. Yeah. We're here for the views. That's right. Speaking of US LHS, my history buoy today is actually a current event. And so happy holidays, everyone. It's National Lighthouse Day when this is posting. What day? August 7th. Whoa. Very nice. National Lighthouse Day and the United States Lighthouse Society is doing an event. And so what you do is you record a video of yourself or other people dancing next to a lighthouse to the music of Meet Me at the Lighthouse by Joe Rivers.

49 I wish we could sample that. Yeah, we'll literally just type it in and see. We'll play a little clip in there so you guys will get to hear it. What you'll be dancing to. And then when you complete this video and also a note that you don't have to make the video as long as the song is.

33 So if you just want to send in a clip of like 30 seconds, you can do that too. But then you email it to jeremy at US LHS.org. Jeremy Deitremal. Yes, Deitremal. And you have to do that by August 14th. So by the time this posts, you'll have a week to submit your dancing. And there's cash prizes. So everybody, if you live near a lighthouse, first of all, congratulations, because. Sorry. That's better. What I was going to say earlier is that people that live near lighthouses are living the absolute dream because you and I talking about going on our trip, that's like a three hour flight or something that we have to endure just to get near one hundreds of dollars.

22 Other people just get to wake up and just go to a lighthouse. Yep. Imagine living near Cape Cod and you just have like a pick of 11 stamps at any time. Yeah. If you're like in Boston. Yeah. Yeah. See, we're in Kansas City, Missouri. So we're in no coast USA. There's East Coast and West Coast. We're at no coast. What's our closest lighthouse? Did we determine it was Texas? No, I don't think we ever officially did. You're in Michigan or Texas. Probably. We did talk about this, but I can't remember. We did. Yeah. I looked it up, but I didn't do like an official. Yeah. But maybe that's why we're so interested in lighthouses is we don't have them.

03 Yeah. Well. Tornadoes are wildly interesting to people that don't have tornadoes to us. They're just like weather. Yeah. It's like it's bad weather. Yeah. But yeah. So if you do live near a lighthouse, good for you. And also do this, this little. Do you dance? Fun. Yeah. This fun competition because National Lighthouse Day only comes around once a year. If you're listening to this podcast, you probably like them. August 7th. August 7th. And you could win cash. Yeah. What's the cash? Cash money. I don't actually know. I just saw that. I'm from USLHS and they said all in caps, cash prizes. Get you a whole quarter.

44 Get you one whole quarter. Well, I might Photoshop us dancing. No, it's got to be authentic. Maybe we can. No, we're not going to make it. We just can't do it. We just can't participate. So our listeners, we live vicariously through you and give it a shot. You can look like a goofball. Nobody cares. Please do it. We're going to be looking as Jeremy Detremold. So we can move on to the lighthouse for the day. I promise pretty soon here I'll have a history buoy that's actually a history buoy. These days it's coming. I can sense it. I feel it. So last time we covered Snake Island, Brazil.

25 And so this time we're going to be covering Snake Island, Ukraine. Totally different Snake Island. Completely in no way are they similar. They're both islands, I take it. Yes, which I kind of feel bad about. Next episode is going to be an American lighthouse. It's going to be a lot about the lighthouse. In these last two episodes we've been covering islands. And so most of the history and the focus is on the island. And then they're like, oh yeah, and there's a lighthouse on it. And so I've been trying to scrounge up information about the actual lighthouse. But episode ends up being mostly about the island. Apologies for that. Hope it's still interesting. And that's what's going to happen today.

06 So the lighthouse, it has a lot more information than the other Snake Island lighthouse did. So it's exciting. The island is located in the Black Sea east of Danube Delta. Danube. That seems like the totally incorrect way to say. Danube. It looks like Danube or something. I have no idea. Danube. I should not try. I should not guess. But anyway, it's Ukraine. The island is less than one square kilometer in area, but is inhabited by around 100 people.

48 Or maybe a little bit less than 100 people. Hectares or acres or? Oh, let's see, square kilometers to acres. Yep. Oh, what? One square kilometer, 247 acres. OK, nice. I don't know. That seems like a lot for what I remember reading. Oh, well, I'll just leave it out there for the internet to tell me. That is smaller than my dad's little field. Oh, that's a lot. I didn't know he had. OK. Oh, wow. OK. Yeah. When you put it into perspective, I forget that I'm talking about an island and not just like.

32 Well, not the field, but the lower land, the house. Yeah, yeah. The field, everything we've pointed out. Casual flex. My dad's. My dad's land. My dad's land is the same size as that island. Pretty sick. Way fewer people. Good one. Thank you. OK, so the lighthouse itself is 12 meters tall, which is around 39 feet, and it's built 40 meters above sea level, which is I think the height of the island at its highest point is 41 meters. So pretty much got there. 131 feet, by the way. Really cool.

12 The flat. It's a white tower with a silver lantern room. Well, that's unique. I was like, I have never seen this before. I know it's very exciting. If you think about it, I bet the sun really just like bounces off. It's like day mark. Very shiny. At least it's not like chrome, but it's polished chrome. But it's like spinning wheels. Definitely some kind of gray metal. Atop a white tower. Yes. And it's also attached to a one story keepers house that has a red roof, like a bright red roof. And it also has a flash pattern that is white one and a half seconds on and three seconds off.

52 So pretty fast, pretty good. Simple. And to save the disappointment that would come crashing down at the end of this episode. It has recently been destroyed. Oh, no. Yep. February 2022. I bet you can guess why, but I will tell you the whole story about it at the end of this episode. All right. So this island has a unbelievable historical significance going on. It is like you should see the Wikipedia page. There is like so much going on. The same amount of word count on there as if you're talking about like George Washington. Wow. If George Washington was an island, as far as Wikipedia is concerned, we're there.

37 Snake Island, Ukraine. What are you drinking? I'm drinking a cup of coffee. You made what? I had iced coffee from this morning and I put more espresso and ice in it. Oh, wait. That was iced coffee on the counter? No. Oh, it sat so long. It got cold. So I put ice in it and then it was iced coffee. You just drank coffee that's sitting on the savage. I'm a workplace sitting on my desk. Eight hours a day just designing HVAC and plumbing. Savage drinking coffee that goes lukewarm. I'm barely human. Oh, he's an animal. Who's going to carry the boats? That's the second time I've heard that in like 10 hours.

20 Yeah. Well, really, yeah. We'll continue on. Okay. Mentions of this island. Look at me. Go back in literature to the fourth or fifth century BC. Oh. I was only thinking AD, which would still be several hundred years. We're talking like. So we're talking because the earth is 2023 years old. So before Jesus walks. Exactly. This. That's where we're talking. This island was mentioned in the Bible.

01 So that's where we're talking. So that's where we're talking. So that's where we're talking. This island was mentioned. That's crazy. What was told us about it? What was happening? It's referred to as the White Island by Roman and Greek philophysers. Phila phila. Phila phila. Delicious carts going up and down the streets. So hard. Have I fallen? It's the afternoon. All right. So we're going to go to the next one. So this is the Island of the Rock Chalk. And it's by the British and Greek philosophers.

41 And authors. And. They mentioned it's either because the rocks were white or because the snakes were white. I think this Island's made of limestone. So. I read somewhere that the, that the Island is made of marble, like white marble. But I think limestone makes more sense. Rock truck. Very nice. Just getting closer and closer to where we live on the map. So. I think the Island of the Rock Chalk. Include. Several ancient inscriptions and these date back to the fourth and fifth century, which is how we know that they were mentioned that late besides. Yeah. Philosophers.

23 Do you know why my mouth is doing that? No. Am I supposed to know? No, I just. I don't know. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. I made you scrambled eggs this morning. And a bagel. There was butter on the bagel and not cream cheese and therefore. Full officers. No, I don't. I'm sorry. I couldn't even say it on accident. And you just said it. Huh? Philosophers. Philosophers. Philosophers stone. Philosophers. Stone. Stone. Philosophers. Philosophers. I'm making the F two earlier. Philosophers.

07 Oh gosh, I can't. This is the episode where we're not drinking any alcohol. Yeah. It's because it's after work and then we're drinking coffee again. So it's a restart where you don't want it. But that's the last time I mentioned that word in this episode. I'm just going to say it. And can you point at me like this? Thank you. It's like having an on call translator. I'm one of the buttons. Thank you. Thanks for hanging with us folks. These inscriptions mention Achilles. Achilles. So the inscriptions are on rocks. That's why I was thinking about stones. They're almost like they're carved into the rock. All they said was inscriptions. And then the other times it's mentioned like earlier when I said in literature, I think that's got to be paper.

53 Well, and Achilles is from the Iliad from Homer. So I think they said that Snake Island is mentioned in the Iliad. Maybe I haven't finished it. You've barely started. That is the Iliad. If anyone has read the Iliad, tell me how. Didn't you say it was like 79 pages of intro? Yeah. Oh, at least. Yeah. Interesting. Probably 100 pages. See how it'd be hard to get into it. And it's been translated many times. True. Anyway, so I don't know exactly what they look like or how this inscription came across to be discovered. It had to have been stone.

33 Otherwise, it wouldn't have survived. Wouldn't be carved. They also mentioned pirates. Like the island was taken over by pirates. And there was like some letter asking that they be eradicated or driven away from the island, stuff like that. That's really cool. Yeah. It just seems pirates in BC. I don't know. They also have a fragment signed by a pottery fragment signed by a famous painter. I won't try to pronounce his name. It's E-P-I-K-T-E-T-O-S. It's like... Epictetus. How do you know that? I feel like I've heard it before. Well, he's...

13 Maybe I'm just wrong. You know the pottery where they have the Greek pottery where they have the figures or they're painted red with the black background or they're black figures with a red background. He was one of those people that painted. Style. Yeah. And they'd like, you know, you paid today's equivalent of like dollar an hour just to sit up in a roof in an attic somewhere and paint pots. You love the idea. And that was from 500 BC. So that's still in the same time range that I was talking about. Yeah. Not to mention there's also remnants of a temple there. And this temple is mentioned many times thousands of years ago in all of this literature.

59 Always referred to as a temple for Achilles where Achilles lived or where he was buried or like his summer home. And they mentioned that people would often go there to release animals as offerings to Achilles and that a statue of Achilles was built inside and that no birds would like fly higher than the temple. That's like very Greek myth sort of thing. Greek legend. And they also say the island was created by Poseidon for Achilles to live on because they were like bros. All right. I don't know enough about that. The Greek mythology, isn't it? Mm hmm. Yeah. I don't know enough about it. Yeah, I don't either. But it was very cool that there's so much about this random teeny tiny little island.

42 Like what is the significance of this tiny island in Greek mythology that it would be Achilles burial place? And summer hangout. Yeah. And summer home. This temple was discovered in 1823 by a Russian naval captain. Yes. And it was he said it was 30 meters on each side. So like almost 100 feet long on each side. A perfect square. And they built the lighthouse right on top of it. On top of the island? On top of the temple. Oh the temple. And it is wiped out. Like there is no like this naval captain was like oh cool there's a temple here.

23 And then they built the lighthouse on top of it. Well it was probably a solid foundation. It's a good spot to build. Like there's no remnant of this temple left it was completely eradicated by the building of this. This seems significant. Neat. They're like cool. How about this is a good place to build. Get rid of all these rocks. Yeah so I just thought that was unbelievable that there's all this history. We have Achilles possible burial place and this lighthouse that I decided to cover was built right on top of there. That's crazy. That's pretty cool actually. That was 20 years later that we got the lighthouse on top of it.

05 So 1841 I want to say. Maybe 43. Let's see if I can find it. I think it's important enough for me to look up right now. 1842. Okay I was super close. And it was built at this time it was the island was owned by the Russian Empire and so it was built by the Black Sea Fleet. From the Russians what I think is an awesome name for a Navy. It's pretty cool. The Black Sea Fleet. So at that time they built a 12 meter octagonal lighthouse which survived until World War I when it was destroyed and rebuilt. So that one from World War I lasted all the way until February 2022.

47 Wow that's crazy. So it switched hands a couple of times mostly under Russian ownership but the island has been subject of dispute for a really long time. It's like because it's in the water and not it's like the maritime boundary line is very sketchy. And so it's always under dispute because this island is a really good vantage point for either of who would own it. So how far is it offshore. Sorry. Let me see. Long way. Not a long way. It's not a long way. Oh another thing. One of our listeners told me the exact distance that Snake Island Brazil is from the coast because remember I said there was like a million different 40 miles ish.

33 I can't remember. Oh my gosh. Here I can find out. How did they tell you? Email? Can they reach us at the lighthouse slowdown at gmail.com? They can and anyone can also through our new website the lighthouse slowdown dot com. Plug plug plug. 34 kilometers from shore. Converted to miles. 17 plus three 20 and change 21. Nice. 21 miles. 21. So that puts that to rest.

15 Snake Island Ukraine. Oh by the way there's also a there's a Ukraine name which translates to Snake Island but I didn't look up how to pronounce it before this so I really just figured I should leave it alone. I'll put it in the parentheses in the title. Okay thank you. At least on YouTube. I would guess it's probably about 35 kilometers from shore. That's what I have to say about that. Ukraine inherited the island when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 but Romania argued it was theirs because of a treaty signed with Russia and Russia was the original owner.

56 I don't know. I don't really know. Russia Ukraine thing has been weird for a long time. Yeah. Since then actually. And Romania and Russia used to have a lot of wars right. It's like Turkish Ottoman. I do not know the Prussian wars. I don't know. I'm sorry I'm all unaware. We're doing our best. Oh. Yeah so now because it you know inherited by Ukraine. Yeah. Romania and Ukraine have been fighting kind of over who gets to have it and I don't know the political details of this but basically if Snake Island is considered an island then it's Ukrainian but if it's just considered a rock in water then I think its location would not be considered when they draw that maritime boundary line.

46 And so I'm assuming that would be beneficial for Romania because there's like is an island is it a rock is it an island. Because if it's an island if it's large enough to be considered an island then it's a you know something where people would be and therefore you go to draw the border. Yeah. So then Ukraine definitely have it like there'd be no question but so now it's like is it an island or is it a rock. Well why fight over it if it's a rock. Well so Ukraine built a little town on it. No way. What's it called. It's called. Snake town. It's spelled bile. I don't know if that's how it's pronounced but that's how it's spelled in English and every time I know.

28 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There are about 100 people and it has a first aid center a post office a bank pier cell phone tower and a marine research center. Awesome. Yeah. And there's also a lot of military personnel on the island and they're stationed there. It's like I think most of the inhabitants are military personnel. OK. Moving ahead to present day kind of what's going on in Snake Island today. It's got a lot of drama. It has the newest information of what happened there is as recent as June 13th of this year which is less than a month ago.

09 Less than two months ago. Is this regarding the war. Yes. We're going to talk about the war. Wait a minute. Conflict. I did put it on here. Snake Island is 22 miles from the coast of Ukraine. So we still did it right. Wow. My estimation was amazing. Yeah. That was just eyeballing. Eyeballing out of control. Eyeballing out of control. Two different deliveries. So this closeness puts it in range of missiles artillery and drone strikes and it's vulnerable from attacks from all directions. Additionally its location means the Ukraine port city of Odessa could be completely controlled from the south.

51 From that location. So as you can imagine it's very highly sought after if you were going to be going to war with Ukraine you'd probably want to snatch up that island. Especially if you're trying to take over Ukraine. Yeah. So that's destroyed. February it has a lot of story behind it. It's actually I don't know if you would have heard about this but I feel like you might have. February 24th 2022 the first day of the Russian invasion two Russian warships attacked this island. Oh I did hear about this. Okay I knew it. I was like there's too much good history behind this for you to have not heard it. But they sent a transmission to the station on the island to surrender and there's a ton of details behind this.

33 I am going to link in my show notes the there's an article that covers everything that transpired on the island that whole day and there's a lot of heavy. Yeah a lot of information. So the Russian transmission told the personnel on the Ukraine to surrender and they just sent back and I quote sorry for the profanity Russian warship go fuck yourself. So sick. That's so badass. And this response became a symbol of Ukrainian resilience and they actually made. Early on in conflict right. Yeah and they actually made a stamp that has a Ukrainian soldier giving the finger to a Russian warship. So that was super cool.

14 They were shelled shortly after that. Oh yeah. Later that day the island was taken over by Russia. But the all the 13 men that were stationed there survived. They were taken as prisoners of war and the president of Ukraine thought that they had died. And so he post was it post. I think that's what I had heard. Yeah. He awarded them all. Heroes of Ukraine award or something but they were actually alive and I think at this point they've been released or at least the guy who said that who was quoted. But their P.O.W.s. Oh no they are released. I'm sorry I'm following slowly. It's OK.

54 You got joy. Immediately Ukraine launched a operation to recapture Snake Island pretty much directly after that happened because that's bad news for Ukraine to have that island taken over. And they finally succeeded in June of 2022. So it's been a year a little bit over a year months. Mm hmm. As you can imagine because the island has been under fire for so long the lighthouse has not survived all of the bombing in the lighthouse is built on top of the temple. Yeah. Was the new lighthouse built in the same place after that was what was that World War One. Oh that's crazy. World War One destroyed it or were too unaffected which is crazy.

36 Just got light damages but it didn't. But yeah it wasn't a central key. Right. And now it's gone again. Yeah. The only hope is that. That's why you couldn't find photos. You said you were looking for photos. Yes. You couldn't find any. Yeah. I just figured there would be some but I guess if there's like if it's like a military stronghold on for Ukraine they wouldn't take a lot of pictures of the lighthouse post them on the Internet. Yeah. But we can only hope that when everything's over and the dust settles that the lighthouse will be rebuilt. That's a dream. But the newest info that I was talking about about this island is that Russia dropped up just a single aerial bomb on it on June 13th.

16 This year. 2023. Yeah. So there must be Ukrainian presence otherwise Russia probably wouldn't bomb their own island. Oh yeah. No no. Yeah. Ukraine took it back over a year ago. And the president of Ukraine visited the island like two days before that. So I don't know if it was like just symbolic. Well a single bomb today can easily manage that entire landmass. I mean it wouldn't destroy the island but it would destroy stuff everything on the island. Yeah. I'm pretty sure they said that the that bile is just flunned or at least not inhabitable right now. Damn. That's crazy.

56 Suckish. War is pretty tough. War is suckish. Yeah. The story is lighthouses all the time apparently. I know. What are they doing? Like if you don't do it for the people do it for the lighthouse. Just end the war. Save the lighthouses end war. That's my t-shirt for us. Think of the lighthouses. Think of all the lighthouses that have been bombed. They do just get really beat up during wars. It's very sad. I mean there's a lot of other really valuable things that get bombed. Oh yeah like people. Terrible. Like the Sennheimer. Yeah. It's a good reminder. Anyways save the lighthouses. Yeah save lighthouses end war or save lighthouses. End war. So that's the latest is a single bomb. Yeah that's all I got on. You know what that means is an exciting potential developing site. Yes. Really important.

36 Lots of people come and go. Snake Island. What is this about white snakes? Is it called white and called Snake Island or do we? Yeah in the Greek literature it's called Snake Island. It's either because of the white stone on the island or the white snakes. Are there still white snakes? Not that I know. They'll get bombed. I didn't get. They're all charred. Now they're black. From charring. Awful. Yeah so kind of a bummer that it's destroyed but I do have a lot of hope. I can't imagine they wouldn't rebuild it. I mean I think it's a good thing. But there's nothing. Sorry.

16 That's where the island goes. There's nothing today like significant about snakes on the island. No. Just the origin of the naming. It's just the name. It's nothing like the Brazil. Nope. That's what I was saying. Like it's very different because you know in Brazil Snake Island is exactly what it sounds like. Snake snakes. Yeah. And this one has no correlation to snakes whatsoever. Much less fun. But isn't that crazy? Like Achilles? Like it's like considered as Achilles resting place. Yeah. That's wild. It's pretty wild. In the movie Troy 2006 Achilles gets struck by an archer which I think is all I think I assume it's based on Homer's The Iliad from what I've read struck by an archer in the Achilles tendon which from that moment on he begins to die.

03 He becomes mortal because the legend goes he was dipped in. Yeah. I wish I knew what I was talking about. Dipped in the river sticks. Was it river sticks again? Yeah. By his mom and she held him by his heel and then his right heel I think. So everything about him was somehow immortalized except for that part. It's brutal. So it goes with legend. I also read that this kind of this temple is also kind of for his I can't remember the name now. It's like his best friend or something. It's his cousin I'm pretty sure. The one he dressed up in his armor.

44 He loved him. Yeah. Yeah. And sent him off and then Troy is where he was wearing Achilles armor. He wore the armor of Achilles and faced. Man I really wish I'd read the book. Hector. Hector of Troy. No his name starts with a P-H. No Hector killed him in battle. Oh right. Yeah. Thinking it was Achilles. Okay that makes sense. But he I think the so the movie Troy is as close as I've gotten to this but I'm pretty sure in Homer's The Iliad and The Odyssey that Troy Achilles expresses like a very deep love for his cousin.

25 Yeah. It's P-H name. Yeah I know. I wish I hadn't written it off. I was just like Achilles Achilles Achilles. And then I was like I should have mentioned the other name. It was mentioned just as much. It's like their resting place. It's a hard name. It's not like Dave. Yeah. Achilles and his cousin David. Achilles and his cousin Dave. Sure. His name's Dave. Jason. That is interesting. Maybe we'll revisit it. Yeah and if you start reading The Iliad again you need to keep an eye peeled to see if they talk about this island because I thought I read some of it. I bet you they do. They talk about a lot so. Well cool.

05 That's what I got. Hoping one day it'll be rebuilt. Fingers crossed. People have bigger things to worry about right now than rebuilding the lighthouse. But one of these days when all the other problems in the world are solved I like this lighthouse to be number one priority. Yeah. I mean there's always something going on right. There's never like in my knowledge there's no even not even any recent history where things were like everybody was worry free even in just the United States for example. I don't think that's ever been a thing. No. Human existence. But among all of that there's been lighthouses built and destroyed and rebuilt and restored and there's a lot of good stories going on with them even today.

48 2023. Yeah. People dancing in front of them for money. Dance for money. I wish we had known that. We could have recorded when we were in the Outer Banks. I know. So that's what I was going to say. I was like maybe we can prep for next year but they're not going to have the same challenge next year. It's going to be something new. So yeah we're going to be dancing. It's going to be like do do your best drawing of the lighthouse and we're going to send in a video dance. Send us a thumbs up. We're going to be dancing and shaking our booties. That's all. Thank you for listening everybody. Make sure to go to our new website the lighthouse lowdown dot com where you can listen to all of our episodes. Vince and I are working on a Google map where you can. Yes that has officially been started.

28 It's not published yet but still working on it but you can click on the lighthouses that we've covered so far. They'll have a little pin so you can see where they are because now we're starting to spread out a little bit. I think we're getting some good lighthouse lowdown around the world earthly coverage for people to check out. So follow us on Instagram at the lighthouse lowdown and check us out on YouTube. The link actually you can watch the videos through our website as well. Awesome. Anything else. No we're on Spotify. Spotify is what I listen to most of my podcasts on. We're not. I listen to Google. But what I was going to say is Spotify has a way to do video and maybe others do as well.

12 Emily does the publishing and all the editing. I just do YouTube and LinkedIn but I did look into Spotify video. I'm not sure if it's an option for us at this time but the lighthouse lowdown dot com like she said has all of our videos all of our audio YouTube. I will soon be catching up. I'm up to date currently but I'm also going to put the first I think it's 19 episodes before we started a YouTube. So I'll be catching up on those as well just to slideshow it out. Heck yeah. Yeah that's the stuff. Thank you all for listening. I promise next time I'll be doing an American lighthouse and we'll see you next time on the lighthouse.
